A man fell to his death from the West Alameda Avenue bridge alongside Interstate 25 today, Denver police said.
He has not been identified, and police are investigating what he was doing in a construction area when he fell about 50 feet, said Detective John White.
The man had not been identified, he said.
“We don’t know yet if he’s homeless or why he was there,” White said. “That’s one of the things we’re investigating, along with whether this was an accident or a suicide.”
The fall did not significantly affect the nearby rush-hour traffic, he said.
