Police are investigating a sexual assault at an apartment complex in Golden.
Investigators said the assault happened this afternoon in the Summit View Village apartments, 17600 W. 14th Ave..
Golden police said the suspect may have been in the area of the apartment between midnight and 11 a.m., waiting for the victim.
The masked suspect is described as white, about 6 feet 2 inches tall,with brown or hazel eyes. He was wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt and gray pants.
The suspect has a mark or tattoo that looks like a large chicken egg on his lower leg or calf.
Police are asking anyone who may have seen the man or have any other information to call Sgt. Al Joyce at 303-384-8079.
