A series of central Ohio billboards praising TCU takes an apparent jab at Ohio State and its president, Gordon Gee.

In November, Gee said Big Ten and SEC teams deserve to play in BCS bowl games more than schools such as TCU because they play tougher opponents, not “the Little Sisters of the Poor.”

So, if TCU’s Rose Bowl win (over Big Ten co-champion Wisconsin, mind you) wasn’t enough for Gee to eat his words, then perhaps flashing words of wisdom will be. The message on the electronic billboard reads, “Congratulations to TCU for their BCS Rose Bowl victory.” It’s signed, “Little Sisters of the Poor.”

Let’s not forget it was Gee, an ex- CU president, who also said: “What do I know about college football? I look like Orville Redenbacher.”
