For three days next week, the ramp onto Parker Road from westbound Arapahoe Road will be closed while construction workers connect a new storm sewer line.

The closures begin at 5 a.m. Monday and run through 11 p.m. Wednesday.

The right lane of westbound Arapahoe Road east of Parker Road will also be closed during that time, according to the Colorado Department of Transportation.

The construction is part of a $32 million project that will be complete by the end of November.

During the closure, motorists on Arapahoe Road who need to access Parker Road will be detoured north on Lewiston Way, which connects to northbound Pakrer Road at a traffic signal.

Uniformed traffic employees will be present during peak hours on Tuesday and Wednesday to help move traffic.

Major delays are expected on westbound Arapahoe Road and Lewiston Way and alternate routes are strongly advised.
