SACRAMENTO, Calif. — Devon Beitzel scored 25 points and Elliott Lloyd added 18 points to lead Northern Colorado to a 77-72 victory over Sacramento State on Thursday night.

Beitzel was 8-for-13 from the field, and the two top scorers combined to go 12-for-12 from the free-throw line for the Bears (10-7, 6-0), who stayed in the lead in the Big Sky Conference.

Sultan Toles-Bey’s 3-pointer with 14 seconds left cut the Bears’ lead to 75-72, but Lloyd made two free throws to seal the win.

MADISON, Wis. — Jordan Taylor scored a career-high 28 points to help the Badgers (14-4, 4-2 Big Ten) overcome a second-half deficit for their 14th consecutive victory in the Kohl Center.

SEATTLE — Isaiah Thomas had 22 points, 10 assists and six rebounds, and the Huskies (14-4, 6-1) took sole possession of first place in the Pac-10.

LOS ANGELES — Reeves Nelson scored a career-high 24 points, tipping in the winning basket at the buzzer as the Bruins (12-6, 4-2 Pac-10) won their third straight.

Lazeric Jones added a career- high 24 points, making 7-of-8 free throws in the final 1:11, and Tyler Honeycutt had 15 for the Bruins, who hit a season-high tying 10 3-pointers, four by Honeycutt.

No. 19 Kentucky 59, Florida 58

GAINESVILLE, Fla. — Victoria Dunlap scored 12 points, including two free throws with 10 seconds remaining, and the Wildcats (14-4, 3-2 Southeastern Conference), overcame a 10-point deficit in the final 5:29 for their third consecutive victory.

NASHVILLE, Tenn. — Freshman Jasmine Lister scored 17 points, including hitting a career-high five 3-pointers, and the Commodores (13-6, 4-2 SEC) used runs of 9-0 and 17-5 to put away the Razorbacks (15-3, 3-3).

GREELEY — Kaisha Brown scored 19 points — one of five Bears in double figures — and UNC (9-9, 4-1 Big Sky) shot 51 percent (20-of-39) to build a 51-25 lead at halftime.
