Coloradans with an interest in trying winter tri can get their pedal, stride and glide fix Saturday on Tennessee Pass, where the Pedal Power Snowshoe Adventure Series will host the first of two multidiscipline events this winter.
The fourth annual Aria Club & Spa Winter Triathlon will consist of a 5K off-piste snowshoe, a 10K snow-bike and an 8K skate-ski on groomed trails at the Tennessee Pass Nordic Center. The event is open to both individual competitors and teams.
The final event in the series — the Street Swell Winter Triathlon on Feb. 19 — also will serve as the North American Winter Triathlon Championships.
