Highlands Ranch took over the top spot in Class 5A after previously unbeaten Arapahoe fell to Overland, , last Friday. The Falcons haven’t lost since Dec. 21, a span of eight games.
It was a tough week for Fort Collins, which dropped out of the 5A rankings after losing all three of its games by a combined 13 points.
The Lambkins fell at Mountain Range (47-41), to Monarch (45-41) and to Boulder (44-41). In their place, Arvada West, riding an eight-game winning streak, debuted at No. 9.
