Fancy Tiger Clothing, which earlier this month moved one door south to its new location at 18 S. Broadway, will celebrate with a grand-opening party at 7 p.m. Feb. 4 . In the new and larger store, customers will find more goods from small, independent lines created by designers from Colorado and around the globe, according to Becky Wareing, communications manager. Fin Art created modular merchandising spaces in the store, and there’s also a turntable DJ station. Each month, the store’s first Friday Denver Made event features local designers. At the store Feb. 4 will be Camille Falk Designs (earrings, above), Fig & Yarrow, Butterworth & Bee and the in-house screen-printed line Black Diamonds. Info: becky@fancytiger.com

Obama’s gospel, Betts writes, “is rooted in the substance of style, a gospel that defines style as knowing who you are and being unafraid to show it to the world.” Suzanne S. Brown, The Denver Post
