Police are investigating a shooting that hospitalized one person in Aurora tonight.
The shooting took place at the 800 block of North Dayton Street just before 11 p.m., Aurora Police Det. Bob Friel said.
Friel said the victim appeared to be male, but the victim’s condition is unknown and his identity has not been released.
Friel said police have checked the area for the shooter, but do not have a suspect in custody.
