ROCKY MOUNTAIN NATIONAL PARK — Rebecca Stubbs, 20, a college student, was rescued late Saturday by a 22-person team after a 200-foot slide down an icy slope left her with multiple injuries.

Stubbs, a University of Colorado at Boulder student, and four other experienced hikers left the Longs Peak trailhead for a backcountry trip at 4 a.m. Saturday, authorities at Rocky Mountain National Park reported.

Stubbs ran into trouble a few hours later just above Peacock Pool in the Chasm Lake area east of Longs Peak.
