The Park County man who abused more than 100 dogs at his kennel in 2009 will spend time in jail.
Sam Walker was given the maximum sentence Monday.
He will spend 90 days in jail, serve two years of probation and 48 hours of community service.
Walker pleaded guilty to animal cruelty at a previous court date. Walker was taken into custody immediately after his sentencing.
In 2009, Walker failed to feed and care for more than 100 huskies at his kennel. A veterinarian who worked on the case said it was the worst case of animal abuse he had ever seen.
