Three people, including one firefighter, were injured this afternoon during a series of crashes at the foot of Floyd Hill.
The Clear Creek Fire Authority characterized all the injuries as minor. The driver of a Jeep and a firefighter were injured when the sport-utility vehicle rear-ended a ladder truck that was helping with traffic control, said Trooper Heather Cobler.
The driver of a car that first hit a guard rail was also injured.
The wreck also included a hit-and-run, but a description of that vehicle was not immediately avaiable.
The eastbound lanes of the interstate were closed for about an hour for a wreck involving several vehicles at about 4:30 p.m.
