There were delays on the light rail D line in and out of downtown Denver early this morning because of a temporary power outage.

A power outage to an RTD substation near Speer Boulevard and West Colfax Avenue knocked down the D line between West 10th Avenue and Osage Street but power was restored and the line was back in service and on schedule by 6:15 a.m., according to RTD.

Shuttle buses were used for a time while the portion of the D line was down.
