United Airlines grounded its entire fleet of Boeing 757-model jets Tuesday evening to check onboard computers and was expected to continue checks for much of today after learning that the computers installed in 2004 had not been checked for compliance.

Flights to and from Denver International Airport could be affected, but a United spokesman could not say how many.

“Everyone should check online to see if their flight has been delayed before they head to the airport,” said spokesman Charlie Hobart.

Checks to each plane should take about 60 to 90 minutes.
