The former bookkeeper for a northwest metro youth-wrestling league is accused of stealing $16,000 and using the money for shopping and dining out, 9News reported Wednesday.
Angie Padia, 35, is accused of stealing from the nonprofit Pomona Youth Wrestling organization. She turned herself in Tuesday to Arvada police.
Court records indicate she allegedly confessed to league officials last year but has refused to repay the money.
