STEAMBOAT SPRINGS, Colo.—Five snowmobilers are recovering after getting stuck in deep snow on a steep area on the north fork of Fish Creek in Routt County.
The Steamboat Pilot & Today reports the five men were tired but not hurt after spending a night outdoors Friday. They were rescued Saturday.
Kristia Check-Hill of Routt County Search and Rescue says the men were able to make a fire and had food and water.
Check-Hill says two of the men are from the Front Range area and three are from the Chicago area.
