PHOENIX — The U.S. Marshals Service has released a new image of the man suspected of shooting U.S. Rep Gabrielle Giffords and killing six people. The previously unreleased mug shot of 22-year-old Jared Loughner was taken in Phoenix while he was in the agency’s custody. Loughner’s attorney fought against the photo release, saying it was an invasion of her client’s privacy and didn’t serve any legitimate public interest.
