COLUMBIA, Mo. — Britney Blythe made a 3-pointer with 15 seconds left to give Colorado the lead Saturday, and Brittany Spears sealed the Buff- aloes’ come-from-behind, 63-59 victory over Missouri with two free throws as CU swept the season series with the Tigers.

The Buffs (14-13, 5-9 Big 12) trailed 59-55 with 2:23 remaining when Meagan Malcolm-Peck contributed a three-point play to draw CU within one. With 19 seconds left, Julie Seabrook rebounded a missed Spears 3-pointer and got the ball to Blythe at the top of the key for the decisive shot. Rachel Hargis blocked the next attempt by the Tigers (12-16, 4-10). Spears got the ball and was fouled.

Spears became the second player in CU history with 2,000 career points.

Colorado State 70, Air Force 49

FORT COLLINS — Rams coach Kristen Holt told forward Sam Martin to shoot more, and Martin responded with 21 points and 10 rebounds as CSU (13-14, 6-8 Mountain West) ended a five-game losing streak by blowing out the Falcons (8-19, 3-11).

Wyoming 77, UNLV 56

LARAMIE — Chandra Sewell led four Cowgirls in double figures with 17 points, and Wyoming (21-6, 11-3 MWC) earned a convincing win over the Rebels (10-19, 3-11) with two runs, one to close the first half and another to open the second that gave the Cowgirls a 39-23 lead.

Denver 74, North Texas 50

DENTON, Texas — Britteni Rice’s 19 points and Brianna Culberson’s double-double (17 points and 10 rebounds) led the Pioneers (19-10, 11-5 Sun Belt) to their sixth straight win by 20 or more points.

Metro State 59, Regis 37

The Roadrunners (25-1, 21-1) clinched a share of the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference regular-season championship with a rout of the host Rangers (10-16, 9-13), then won the title outright a short time later when Mesa State upset Fort Lewis.

Men

North Texas 63, Denver 41

DENTON, Texas — George Odufuwa’s 32nd career double-double powered North Texas to an easy victory.

Odufuwa’s 12 points and 10 rebounds fueled the Mean Green (18-10, 7-8 Sun Belt), which never trailed. The Pioneers (13-16, 9-7) were led by Brian Stafford, who scored 13 points.

At the Sun Belt Tournament in Hot Springs, Ark., DU will be the No. 3 seed in the West and play Florida International, the East’s No. 6 seed.

Colorado Mines 97, CU-Colorado Springs 74

GOLDEN — The Orediggers (22-4, 18-4) clinched the RMAC regular-season title and the No. 1 seed in the RMAC Shootout that begins Tuesday by shooting almost 70 percent (18-of-26) in the second half after leading by 11 points at halftime.

Metro State 75, Regis 65

Reggie Evans scored a game-high 21 points, becoming the 14th Metro State player to reach 1,000 points for his career, and pulled down 10 rebounds to lead the Roadrunners (20-6, 17-5 RMAC), who made all six free throws in the final minute to clinch the win over the Rangers (6-20, 3-19).
