DENVER—Police have arrested a 17-year-old boy after an allegation that a 14-year-old girl was sexually assaulted at John F. Kennedy High School in Denver during the school day.
Prosecutors say the teen was arrested Friday for an investigation into possible charges of second-degree kidnapping and sexual assault.
A judge has found probable cause to hold the teen on the tentative charges. The Denver district attorney’s office says a decision on whether to file formal charges is not expected to be announced until Friday.
