The El Paso County Sheriff’s Office is looking for two children who have been missing for several years, but were never reported missing by their adopted parents.
Edward Bryant has been missing for 10 years, while Austin Bryant has been missing for at least five.
Edward Bryant, who would now be 18, was last seen as early as 2001. Austin Bryant, who would be now be 15, was last seen sometime between 2003 and 2005.
Both boys were the adopted children of Edward and Linda Bryant. The Bryants lived in the 18000 block of Granite Circle in Monument from 1999 to 2005. A missing person’s report was never filed for either child.
Edward and Linda Bryant have been arrested in Texas and extradited back to Colorado for receiving an ongoing financial subsidy from the El Paso County Department of Human Services despite the fact Austin and Edward were not living with them.
