GREELEY, Colo.—Simla preserved its undefeated season with a 40-37 comeback victory over Fleming in the girls 1A championship game on Saturday.
Simla’s Cubs trailed 26-16 at halftime, but they dominated the third quarter.
Simla senior guard Kristen Wilson hit a jump shot with 53 seconds remaining, and Simla blocked a three-point attempt by Fleming’s Jenna Vandenbark with less than a second remaining.
Simla finishes 26-0.
