Police and fire officials are investigating the intentional burning of two cars early Wednesday morning in a northwest Longmont neighborhood.
Two cars parked in driveways on Cornell Drive were burned to shells and four other cars were broken into on Cornell Drive and neighboring Northwestern Drive, according to Longmont police.
The fires were reported at about 3:45 a.m. after alert neighbors discovered the flames engulfing a car on Cornell Drive and called the fire department for help.
