Big game at Coors:
Every high-schooler who gets the chance to step to the plate at Coors Field dreams of circling the bases after going yard. Ponderosa’s David Johnson did it twice Tuesday against Northglenn in grand fashion.
The Mustangs slugger went 4-for-5 with a triple and back-to-back grand slams in the fourth and fifth innings in Ponderosa’s 21-4 rout of the Norse. Johnson finished with 10 RBIs.
