DENVER—Denver is welcoming basketball fans from around the country.
The Pepsi Center will host four games in the NCAA Tournament on Thursday. The winners will play another round on Saturday.
Fans lined up before dawn to get into one downtown bar opening early for the event. Bagpipes players and Irish dancers entertained the crowds as they waited.
The first game is Louisville against Morehead State. The day will end with a matchup between St. John’s and Gonzaga.
