Two men with shotguns allegedly carjacked a green Ford Fusion early today in southwest Colorado Springs.
Police were called just before 1:30 a.m. to investigate the carjacking that reportedly happened at East Cheyenne Road and Aspen Avenue just west of Interstate 25.
The victim told police that a black Jeep Cherokee pulled in front of the 2006 Ford Fusion and two men jumped out, holding shotguns.
“Get out of the car!” yelled one of the men, according to the victim.
The man then smashed the passenger side window of the car with the butt of his shotgun. All three people who were in the Ford ran away and the men drove away in the Ford and the Cherokee.
