A United Express pilot accused of flying while drunk has turned himself in.
The U.S. attorney’s office in Denver said 32-year-old Aaron Jason Cope surrendered Friday to U.S. marshals in Norfolk, Va., where he lives. Cope was indicted Wednesday by a federal grand jury.
The indictment said the incident happened Dec. 8, 2009, on a flight from Austin to Denver. Cope was serving as the co-pilot.
