HANOI, Vietnam — A U.S.-based pro-democracy group says two Vietnamese-Americans — including one from Colorado — have been detained in Vietnam after participating in a protest in Ho Chi Minh City.

Viet Tan, otherwise known as the Vietnam Reform Party, said Tuesday that two of its members, Jennifer Truong, 44, of Fountain Valley, Calif., and Nguyen Quang Khanh, 57, of Centennial, remain in custody following the March 14 demonstration over corruption and property rights.

Police declined to comment.
