Vice President Joe Biden is expected to arrive in Snowmass Village today for a family vacation, officials confirmed Wednesday.
“It’s a pretty low-key visit, definitely a vacation,” said Pitkin County Sheriff Joe DiSalvo, who said his office will provide aid to the Town of Snowmass Village Police Department, which is the primary local agency handling security logistics tied to the visit.
Biden and his wife, as is customary for a high-ranking U.S. official, “will get full blown” protection by Secret Service agents, the sheriff noted.
