STEAMBOAT SPRINGS, Colo.—Colorado ski resorts are still getting more snow, but Howelsen Hill Ski Area is closing for the season.
The tiny ski hill in downtown Steamboat Springs had planned for a while to end the season Sunday afternoon.
The ski area has been running since 1915 and has been the training ground for dozens of Olympians.
