For the second time in a little more than a decade, a Greeley woman is facing the consequences of stealing from those who trusted her: first a church, now a multiple sclerosis patient.

Weld District Court Judge Thomas Quammen on Tuesday sentenced Rhonda Cheri Aab, 39, to six years in prison for the most recent theft from the MS patient, Becky Johnson, 60, of Kersey. She could end up serving much less time, however, by earning time for good behavior.

Aab apologized for taking more than $5,000 from the woman in a span of three months through a series of 57 forged checks.
