A man who was incarcerated at the Aurora jail this weekend has died.
Jeffon Shaw, 37, was arrested late Saturday on two warrants, one a battery charge out of Aurora and the other, third-degree assault from Adams County.
Shaw was arrested without incident, officials said. But early Monday, jail staff noticed he was unresponsive. After administering CPR and using a defibrillator on him, he was transported to a hospital, where he died. The cause of death is being investigated.
