Westminster police are still searching for a 71-year-old Missouri man wanted in connection with the death of his ex-wife early Monday.
Richard Paul Stewart may be driving a dark blue, 1997 Buick LeSabre Custom with Missouri disabled license plate BX97J or a 2009 silver ice metallic Chevy Malibu LT, with Minnesota license plate 511DHB, police investigator Cheri Spottke said.
He is described as 5-foot-10 and 140 to 190 pounds, with brown or gray hair. Police believe he may be armed and dangerous.
Authorities still have not released the name of the 71-year-old woman who was found dead inside the doorway of a Westminster Edward Jones office Monday morning.
The woman filed for divorce from Stewart in 2008, about a week after she reported Stewart had thrown things at her, thrown her clothes in the trash on their front yard and destroyed photos of her. The couple had been married for 45 years.
