Police are investigating whether the mother of a missing 5-year-old boy was involved in two deaths that may have happened at their Durham home.
A Colorado search warrant obtained by WRAL-TV says a confidential informant told investigators that the boy, Jadon Higganbothan was shot in October and his body stuffed in a suitcase. The warrant says a woman named Antoinetta McKoy got into an argument with members of a religious sect called the Black Hebrews and also was killed.
A warrant released Tuesday in North Carolina says authorities searched the Durham home where the boy’s mother, Vania Sisk, and Pete Moses once lived, finding a bullet, shell casings and possible human blood. The document says Sisk and Moses participated in killing an unnamed adult and a juvenile.
