Local police are investigating a string of recent break-ins at local businesses in Frisco and Dillon.
The culprit or culprits have hit at least three small businesses, breaking in windows or tampering with doors after-hours and stealing small sums of cash.
Frisco police, who are investigating two of the break-ins, said they do not currently have any leads or suspects and have no reason to believe the burglaries were committed by the same person.
Southern Exposure Salon in Dillon the Stork and Bear Company in Frisco were burglarized late March 21 or early in the morning March 22, while the businesses were closed for the night. Someone also broke into the Qi Gong Institute in Frisco the weekend of March 19. The owner reported the incident to the police when she reopened the business March 22.
