A redistricting hearing this afternoon will feature five Republican-drawn maps and six from the Democrats, but there is huge disagreement about their impact.
Some Democrats privately charged today that the GOP maps, including three from Speaker Frank McNulty, R-Highlands Ranch, pack Democrats and minorities into two districts, one based in Boulder and one based in Denver. He declined to comment until after the hearing.
