A person was shot Thursday morning by police in Westminster as officers served a warrant at a home. The incident happened about 10:30 a.m. in the 8000 block of Grove Street, said Trevor Materasso, a Westminster police spokesman.
Westminster SWAT officers were assisting the North Metro Drug Task Force in serving the warrant when the shooting occurred, Materasso said. Details on the shooting victim’s identity and injuries were not available. No one else was injured.
