Not likely, if the former Broncos running back keeps up his run of success.
Hillis, who rushed for 1,177 yards and 11 touchdowns last season after getting traded to the Browns, and Eagles quarterback Michael Vick have risen to the top in a field of 32 in fan voting to be on the cover of Madden NFL 12. Vick was also on the 2004 cover.
Each team was represented by a player — the Broncos’ Tim Tebow lost in the first round to the Chiefs’ Jamaal Charles.
More than 11 million votes were cast during the first four weeks.
According to ESPN.com, the winner will be announced Wednesday during “SportsNation” on ESPN2.
