A Senate committee voted Tuesday to decriminalize adultery and “promoting sexual immorality,” laws put on the books during a different era in Colorado.

Sen. Pat Steadman, D-Denver, said his focus on the two crimes is part of a larger effort for Colorado to get rid of outdated laws.
