A memorial for Bill Saul is planned Thursday at the National Western Stock Show Club to remember the show’s longtime spokesman.
All friends are invited to the event from 4 to 6 p.m. inside the National Western Complex at 4655 Humboldt St.
Saul died March 29 after a two-year struggle with cancer. He was 78.
He retired as spokesman for the stock show after 38 years in 2004 but had continued as a part-time archivist and historian for the show.
Thursday’s remembrance is being organized by Kevin McNicholas of KM Concessions and Pat Grant, the retired president and CEO of the show.
Saul is survived by his wife, Judy, and three daughters, Margaret Smith, Erika Saul and Elisabeth Saul.
