CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. — A 10-year-old central Pennsylvania girl who allegedly caused a baby’s death by violently shaking him and throwing him into a crib was charged with third-degree murder.
The charges filed against the fifth-grader Friday in Frank lin County came after a coroner’s inquest into the death of 11-month-old Heath Ryder. The girl was released into the custody of her parents and ordered not to have unsupervised contact with children under 5.
