Polls for every classification of baseball. Records through Tuesday.
Grandview is the latest team to claim the top spot in the Class 5A baseball rankings, becoming the fourth school to do so this season.
The Wolves, who went 4-0 last week to extend their winning streak to 10 games, follow Cherokee Trail, Fort Collins and Cherry Creek in being the state’s top-ranked team.
It was a tough week for former No. 1 Cherokee Trail, which lost to Mullen and Arapahoe. The Cougars dropped to second.
Regis Jesuit, meanwhile, returned to the rankings for the first time since late March. The Raiders, now 13-6, were 3-0 last week — including a 4-0 win over Chaparral.
Wheat Ridge claimed the top spot in the 4A ranking, bumping up from No. 2 last week.
In 3A, Lamar made the biggest jump, going from No. 9 to No. 5.
Note: There are no rankings for 2A or 1A this week, as both classifications are now in their district playoffs. (Brackets: , .)
