COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo.—Colorado Springs police have arrested an officer suspected of buying photos from a child pornography website.
Thirty-year-old Josh Carrier faces a charge of possession of child pornography. He has an unlisted phone number and couldn’t be reached for comment Wednesday.
The Air Force Office of Special Investigations had alerted police that during one of its investigations, it found Carrier may have made purchases from an online pornography site.
Carrier is on administrative leave pending the investigation.
Police say he has been with the city police department for seven years. His assignments have included working as a middle school resource officer.
