Longmont emergency crews responded to an apartment fire on the 700 block of Baker Street this morning.
Resident Shawn Grubbs said he and other residents were evacuated when officers came to the scene at about 10:30 a.m.
Grubbs said the apartment is occupied by three people, but they were not home at the time of the fire.
Officers were able to evacuate residents from the other eight or nine apartments.
