WELD COUNTY — The Colorado State Patrol said a man was killed in a motorcycle crash after an officer tried to pull him over on Interstate 25 near Exit 240 on Sunday evening.
Troopers said the motorcyclist failed to yield. A deputy called a pursuit, then backed off because of traffic. The motorcyclist went about 5 miles north, took an exit and crashed.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene.
