U.S. 34 west of Loveland will be closed from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday for emergency repairs to a culvert.
The stretch of highway is between Glade Road and Larimer County Road 27, which will be used as the detour routes.
“With high waters and more winter runoff on the way, it is essential that we repair this culvert immediately,” said CDOT Maintenance Supervisor Tom Aguilar in a press release. “To complete the repairs quickly and safely, it is essential that we completely close U.S. 34 for the day.”
Motorists should expect delays, agency officials said.
