PUEBLO, Colo.—State health officials have ordered that all drinking water from sources at Lake Pueblo State Park be boiled because of bacteria found in it.

Officials say coliform bacteria found in water from a restroom Friday was above allowable levels. The “boil-order” notices have been posted throughout the state park near Pueblo and state health officials will keep testing the water.

Park managers say the water system is undergoing construction and that might have caused the problem. Pueblo State Park’s water system will be flushed out with clean water Monday as an added precaution.
