A 27-year-old man critically injured at a Colorado Rockies game Tuesday at Coors Field was sliding down a railing when he lost control and fell, landing on his head, police said.
The victim, who has not been identified, was taken to a hospital in critical condition.
Witnesses told police investigators that “the victim was attempting to slide down the staircase rail, he lost his balance and fell off the rail and struck his head,” according to police spokesman Sonny Jackson.
