The last person known to have seen 19-year-old Kenia Monge before she disappeared April 1 has been extradited from Texas back to Colorado and was officially charged in an alleged auto theft Tuesday in Jefferson County District Court, 9News reported.
Travis Forbes — who calls himself the main suspect in the missing-teen case — has not been charged in her disappearance. Denver Police do not call him a suspect.
Instead, Forbes was accused of stealing a car from Wheat Ridge and driving it to Texas, where police found and arrested him. The charge of first-degree aggravated motor-vehicle theft is a felony and carries a penalty of two to six years in prison, officials say.
