Officials pulled the body of an Arizona woman from the Colorado River near Radium on Thursday afternoon.

At 3:15 p.m., officers received a report of a possible drowning in the Colorado River near Radium, according to a news release from the Grand County Sheriff’s Office.

A woman was removed from the river at the Radium BLM Campground where she was later pronounced dead.

The Grand County Coroner’s Office identified the woman as Susan Pyeatt-Terpening, 65, of Glendale, Ariz.

The woman was rafting with co-workers and friends on a team-building trip.

The group was in an area known as Needles Eye when the raft overturned and Pyeatt-Terpening was thrown into the water.

The cause of death has not yet been identified.

Grand County Search and Rescue and Grand County EMS also responded to the call.
