Pilgrim’s Pride Corp. has named Fabio Sandri as chief financial officer for the Greeley-based poultry company. Sandri begins the position immediately and will be relocating to northern Colorado from Brazil later this year.
He succeeds Gary Tucker, 62, who announced his retirement after eight years with the company, most recently as principal financial officer and chief accounting officer.
Sandri, 39, previously served as chief financial officers of Estacio Participacoes, the largest private post-secondary educational system in Brazil. Before that position, which he held since April 2010, he spent nearly two years as the chief financial officers of Imbra SA, a provider of dental services in Sao Paolo, Brazil. From 2005 to 2008, Sandri worked as strategy director and corporate controller for Braskem, S.A., a New York Stock Exchange-listed petrochemical company based in Brazil.
